Team Dresch has released Furthermore, the Portland queercore band’s first album in thirty years, via Jealous Butcher Records.
The 12-track set arrived on September 18, 2026, with a new video for “Heard A Bang” directed by Lance Bangs. Formed in 1993 around Donna Dresch, Jody Bleyle, Kaia Wilson, and early drummer Marcéo Martinez—later joined on Captain My Captain by Melissa York—the group helped define Pacific Northwest punk outside the usual grunge frame. Today they tour as a five-piece with both Martinez and York in the lineup.
Their 1995 debut Personal Best recently appeared on Rolling Stone’s list of the greatest punk albums, and anniversary shows last year mixed longtime fans with a new generation discovering the band online. Furthermore extends that lineage with melodic shred, emotional urgency, and the same public queer defiance that made asking “do you listen to Team Dresch?” a cultural shorthand in the ’90s.
A European run opens September 19 in Bern, Switzerland, with German and London dates through September 30. U.S. shows resume October 28 in Portland with Heavens to Betsy and Altar Girl, then San Francisco, Los Angeles, and a November 12 Tacoma date with Neko Case.
