Shygirl is taking Swallow! on the road with a band. Pitchfork reports that the London artist will open a 2027 headlining tour—her first with a full live band—on March 13 at Berlin’s Columbiahalle, then work through Europe and the U.K. before a North American leg in April and early May.
The album, her proper follow-up to 2023’s Nymph, arrives November 6 on Because Music and has already been previewed by “Alyse” and “Lucky (Hymn).” On Tuesday (October 13) she also released “Mantra,” with a video pitched as a prequel to those earlier clips. Presale access opens around October 21, with general sale October 23; the run ends with a May 18 homecoming at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Europe first, then North America
Confirmed dates include Amsterdam’s Paradiso, Paris’s Élysée Montmartre, Glasgow’s SWG3, and Manchester Academy, then U.S. rooms such as Denver’s Gothic Theatre, Austin’s Scoot Inn, Brooklyn Paramount, and Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall. Festival slots this fall and winter—C2C in Turin, Iceland Airwaves, Mira in Barcelona, and III Points in Miami—bridge the album release and the spring tour.
Because Music describes the live show as translating the forthcoming record’s expansive sound with a full band, a shift from Shygirl’s earlier club-leaning presentation.
