Quavo has put a street date on his next solo album. Qrömelife, executive produced by Pharrell Williams, arrives October 2 on Quality Control/Motown — the Atlanta rapper’s first full-length since 2023’s Rocket Power, The Source and Pitchfork report.
The announcement pairs with a new single, “Backwards,” featuring T.I. The Source describes the track as two generations of Atlanta royalty trading verses about the city’s nightlife. Quavo previewed it live last week opening WWE’s Sunday Night Main Event in Atlanta; the visual leans into surreal choreography against a massive city flag.
A Pharrell-steered rollout
Williams has been central to the campaign. “Haavin,” which he produced, opened Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2027 Men’s Show in Paris; “Trance (Walk It Down)” followed in August. Pitchfork notes months of yacht-session teasers with Pharrell before the October 2 lock. Some coverage puts the album at 14 tracks, though a full tracklist has not been published.
Beyond the solo LP
Quavo has also teased a final Migos album after Takeoff’s 2022 death, still without a release date. For now, the calendar focus is solo: three singles out, Pharrell as executive producer, and a Quality Control/Motown street date less than three weeks away — a tighter reveal cadence than the open-ended yacht clips that carried the project through the summer.
