Miley Cyrus’s tenth studio album, Bass Persuades, is out today (September 18) on Atlantic Records — her first full project under the new label deal after two Columbia albums that included the Grammy-winning “Flowers.” The 10-track set leans into dance-pop and ’80s-tinged synths, and press materials for this cycle have referred to the artist simply as Miley.
Guest turns include Model/Actriz on “Different Religion” and Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt on “Neon Signs.” The title track arrived September 3 with a video directed by Mert Alas; “Let’s Get Married” also received a visual alongside the album drop. In her Instagram announcement, Cyrus described the title as capturing music’s pull — “powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong” — across heartache and everything in between.
She will stage the album at a sold-out two-night stand at the Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18, with Model/Actriz as special guest — her first full U.S. concerts since 2021. “It’s been a while,” she wrote of the Bowl dates. “LA is my heart and I’m bringing it home.”
