Swedish rock band Europe have shared the title track and video for Come This Madness, their forthcoming studio album due this Friday, September 25 via Silver Lining Music. The clip is a behind-the-scenes montage from the band’s 2026 campaign, shot on the road amid live dates and quieter downtime.
Frontman Joey Tempest said the group set out to write and produce in “the spirit of the old days,” stressing big choruses, soaring melodies, and studio craft, plus ties to the band’s past that he expects longtime fans to recognize. Earlier singles from the album include “The Cult of Ignorance,” “One on One,” and “Scandinavian Eyes,” with videos directed by Patric Ullaeus.
Alongside the release, Europe launch The Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour in Glasgow on September 30, with a run of UK and European dates through late November 2026 and Japan shows in January 2027. Several nights are already sold out, and others are listed as low-ticket; full routing is on europetheband.com.
Come This Madness spans 11 tracks, opening with “One on One” and “The Cult of Ignorance” before the title cut, and will be available on vinyl, CD, and digital formats. The lineup remains Joey Tempest, John Norum, John Levén, Mic Michaeli, and Ian Haugland.
