Beyoncé has released a remastered 20th-anniversary deluxe edition of B’Day, the album that first arrived on September 4, 2006. The 2026 package pairs the original songs with Spanish recordings, bonus cuts, and several previously unheard tracks.
New material includes “Cuerpo Tumbao (Get Me Bodied)” with Maluma — her first collaboration with the Colombian star — which samples Celia Cruz’s “La Negra Tiene Tumbao.” Another highlight is “Irreemplazable (Como La Flor)” featuring previously released vocals from Selena Quintanilla, cleared with the late singer’s estate. “Can I Watch You,” produced with Pharrell, also appears among the rarities, alongside titles such as “Morning Dew (Donk),” “My First Time,” “Lost Yo Mind,” “Creole,” and “Back Up.”
Videos were remastered, recolored, and finished in 4K, including a refreshed “Déjà Vu” clip with Jay-Z. In a statement shared with Variety, Beyoncé described the original album as built for live instrumentation and hard, up-tempo energy at a moment when hip-hop was dominating — an attempt to keep R&B bridges and harmonies in the mix through sampling.
The anniversary drop keeps a catalog cornerstone in active circulation while fans still wait for official word on Act III. For now, the story is archival muscle: Spanish-language history, estate-cleared duets, and a deluxe that treats B’Day as a living release, not a museum piece.
