Swedish House Mafia’s August 29, 2026 date at Ullevi in Gothenburg drew 65,972 people, according to TicketNews and Live Nation Sweden — enough to claim a Nordic attendance record for an electronic music concert and the group’s largest show to date.
Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso played a 360-degree center-stadium stage with four LED towers, lasers and pyrotechnics, plus a pre-show airplane pyro pass. The set leaned on career markers such as “Don’t You Worry Child.” Live Nation Sweden head promoter Richard “Sejka” Ardermark called the homecoming “incredibly special,” stressing the scale of a Swedish return for a trio that helped move EDM into stadiums.
Attendance figures like this matter beyond the brag sheet. Stadium EDM packages remain one of the few mid-decade formats still filling the very top of the live funnel while mid-tier festivals struggle. A near-66,000 count in Gothenburg also keeps Nordic markets on promoters’ maps when routing dance headliners.
Whether the record holds through the rest of 2026 is secondary to the production proof: a hometown electronic act can still sell a football stadium on catalog and spectacle without a new album cycle dominating the pitch.
