Queens of the Stone Age will bring their new album to American arenas next spring, and they are bringing Pixies along. The band has announced a 16-date U.S. leg of the Perfecth World Tour, running from May 1 to May 24, 2027, with Pixies and Denver alternative hip-hop group Wheelchair Sports Camp supporting every show.
A new album first
The tour supports Perfecth, the band’s ninth studio album, due October 30 on Matador Records. The nine-song record was co-produced by frontman Josh Homme and bassist Michael Shuman. Two songs from it are already out: “Insignificant Other” and “Easy Street,” which features Nikki Lane. The band also gave “Where The Goth Girls At?” its live debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Coast to coast in May
The run starts at Viejas Arena in San Diego and heads up the West Coast through Inglewood’s Kia Forum, Oakland, Sacramento, Seattle and Portland. It then moves inland to Salt Lake City and an open-air night at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, before turning through the Midwest with stops in Saint Paul, at Milwaukee’s American Family Insurance Amphitheater, Rosemont, Indianapolis and Columbus. Pittsburgh and Detroit come next, and the tour closes at Boston’s TD Garden on May 24.
An artist presale opens Wednesday, October 28, at 10 a.m. local time. Fans need to register by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 25. General tickets go on sale Thursday, October 29, at 10 a.m. local time.
Busy calendar before then
The U.S. dates are only part of the schedule. Queens of the Stone Age play shows in Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand in November and December, then return in March 2027 for a Mexico City show with Interpol at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes on March 6, followed by Lollapalooza appearances in Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
The bill also puts two generations of alternative rock on the same stage. Pixies, whose influence on 1990s guitar music is hard to overstate, will play directly before the headliners every night.
