Matchbox Twenty is turning three decades of radio rock into a long summer on the road. On Tuesday (October 13), Live Nation said the band will play a 52-date North American 30th Anniversary Tour in 2027, opening May 15 at Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Birmingham, Alabama, and closing August 12 at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Stops include Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Hollywood Bowl, Austin’s Moody Center, Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre, and The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Special guests rotate by market: The All-American Rejects, The Wallflowers, David Gray, O.A.R., Matt Nathanson, and The Lucky. Just before the trek, the band plays Stagecoach Festival in Indio on April 25.
Presales and anniversary framing
Artist and Spotify Reserved by Spotify presales begin October 20; general on-sale is October 23 at 10 a.m. local time via Matchbox Twenty’s site and Ticketmaster. The tour anchors a yearlong celebration of 1996 debut Yourself or Someone Like You, which Live Nation notes is diamond-certified in the U.S. and spawned hits such as “3AM,” “Push,” and “Real World.” The band marked the moment with a Fonda Theatre show in Los Angeles and a Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance.
Live Nation credits Matchbox Twenty—Rob Thomas, Brian Yale, Paul Doucette, and Kyle Cook—with more than 40 million records sold worldwide and a catalog that later added “Bent,” “Unwell,” and “How Far We’ve Come.”
