Iron Maiden Add 16 Final North American ‘Run for Your Lives’ Dates for Spring 2027

Iron Maiden were supposed to rest in 2027. Instead, the band has added a spring leg of North American shows that will serve as the closing stretch of its 50th-anniversary Run for Your Lives tour.

The 16-date run opens April 14 at the Tacoma Dome in Washington and finishes May 16 at the Boardwalk Rock festival in Ocean City, Maryland, two days after a headline slot at Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio. Bullet for My Valentine and The Raven Age will support on the headline dates. The routing picks up markets the band missed on its recently completed 2026 swing, such as Vancouver, Dallas and Atlanta, with further stops in Portland, Phoenix, Tampa, Raleigh and Hartford before a final arena night at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York, and the two festival dates.

Steve Harris explains the change of plan

Founder and bassist Steve Harris said the group had intended to step away from live work next year, but enjoyed the latest U.S. and Canadian leg so much that the members agreed to return for fans in the Northwest and Southeast. “We can’t get everywhere but we can try!” he said, adding that the band wanted to try a couple of American festivals after years of playing them in Europe.

The new dates come in what has already been a landmark year for the group, which is part of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2026 class of inductees. Before heading back to North America, Maiden still have 2026 shows to play in Brazil, New Zealand, Australia and Japan.

Presales begin Monday, October 19, at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster, with the general on-sale following on Friday, October 23, at 10 a.m. local time.
