PopIndia, Reservoir Media’s India-based subsidiary, has acquired all compositions and masters owned by Chennai’s Vincey Productions, plus the company’s owned YouTube channels, which the company says reach more than 10 million subscribers.
Vincey’s South Indian catalog leans into children’s music along with Tamil and Telugu Christian and devotional repertoire. Separately, PopIndia signed a publishing agreement for future works by Indian hip-hop producer Rajvir Singh, known as 30KEY!, whose credits include work with Punjabi artist Talwiinder and Kashmiri acts SOS and Ahmer.
Vincey founder Vincent Raj said the partnership aims to bring the catalog to a broader audience. Spek, Reservoir’s executive VP of international and emerging markets and PopArabia founder/CEO, framed the deals as expanding Reservoir’s footprint across India’s regional music landscape — from established devotional repertoire to next-generation creators.
PopIndia also named Diya Patil operations manager, working alongside head of operations Ray Ahmed.
