MNRK Music Group has acquired the complete recorded catalog of Black Label Society, the southern metal band founded by guitarist Zakk Wylde. The deal, reported September 15, 2026, covers the group’s 11 studio albums plus live releases, EPs, Wylde’s solo recordings, and additional material. Financial terms were not disclosed.
MNRK says it intends to put the catalog to work through reissues and ongoing digital availability, while also trying to reach listeners who never caught Black Label Society the first time around. For a band with more than two decades of output under Wylde’s leadership, that combination of physical reissue culture and streaming reach is the practical upside of a full-catalog sale.
Company leadership framed the purchase as continuity rather than a cold acquisition. CEO and president Sean Stevenson called the agreement a natural extension of MNRK’s existing relationship with Wylde, citing Black Label Society’s durable fanbase in heavy music and saying the company is proud to deepen the partnership long term. Scott Givens, SVP of MNRK Heavy, pointed to decades of songwriting, memorable riffs, and a dedicated global audience, and said the label is eager to bring new energy to the releases across streaming, vinyl, and new generations of fans.
Wyldes profile outside Black Label Society remains part of the catalogs value. Beyond fronting BLS for more than twenty years, he has maintained a high-visibility career that includes work with Ozzy Osbourne and Pantera context that keeps his name circulating beyond the southern-metal niche the band helped define.

No price tag was published, which is common for catalog deals of this type; what is public is the breadth of rights — studio LPs, live titles, EPs, solo sides, and related assets and the stated intent to keep the music circulating.
