Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has set a new Billboard Hot 100 benchmark, logging a 23rd week at No. 1 and surpassing Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which held the previous all-time mark at 22 weeks.
According to chart reporting dated September 22, 2026, the country smash’s latest No. 1 stretch began July 4 and has now run 12 consecutive weeks. Variety noted 21.8 million official U.S. streams for the tracking week (down 9%) alongside 58.3 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 2%), with the song still topping Billboard’s Streaming Songs and Digital Songs charts and climbing to No. 2 on Radio Songs.
Consequence reported global tallies exceeding 1.6 billion streams and 2.8 billion TikTok views, plus additional international chart milestones, including the longest-running No. 1 in UK country radio history and Langley’s status as the first country artist in more than 20 years to top the UK Singles Chart.
The Hot 100’s top three this week are all country: Langley at No. 1, Stella Lefty’s “Boston” at No. 2, and Morgan Wallen’s “Been by Now” at No. 3. Langley’s album Dandelion sits at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 after returning to No. 1 the prior week. She leads CMA Award nominations ahead of the Nov. 18 broadcast and remains on the road through fall arena and amphitheater dates.
